Education is that factor which decides the future of our nation. But being a country with a huge population which mostly lives below the poverty line; there are hundreds of them who have dropped out due to social and financial problems. Getting to eat a day’s meal is their aim, whereas using computer is a farfetched dream for them. Supertron Foundation has worked to make their dreams come true. Our objective is to bring back those children to school and encourage them to build a better future. So, we have installed computers, projectors, speakers as a mode to make the classrooms a more colourful and interesting place.
Supertron Foundation has derived the idea to introduce Computer Empowerment Centre for children’s. These children are often shown motivational videos and inspiring movies with aim to stir their inner potential to achieve great things in life. These initiatives have brought colours in the way they are responding and making progress. Today Supertron has more than 75 Computer Empowerment Centres in West Bengal, Karnataka & M.P.
The Supertron Foundation organized Digital Skilled Development Workshops for teachers of all computer-empowered schools in Kolkata. The objectives of the workshops are to enhance the computer literacy and skills of the teachers and make them more computer literate through a practical training. The objective of this is to train the teachers to be well equipped and to guide the students to become a computer friendly.
Antyodoy Anath Ashram Paunsi runs an orphanage for abandoned and destitute children since 1995 at Paunsi, a remote village in East Medinipur district of West Bengal state in India.
Supertron Foundation has come forward to extend the support and build up 3 floors new school building along with all infrastructures and class room facilities. The new school name is now Supertron – Khagendra Sishu Siksha Kendra. The new school building was inaugurated by Mr. V.K. Bhandari on 2nd of February 2023.
Antyodoy Anath Ashram Paunsi runs another unit in Birbhum district for tribal children.
Supertron Foundation also extend financial support for development and construction of a primary school for tribal children in Gangte village in Birbhum dist. West Bengal. Presently 250 children’s from class I to class IV are coming regularly to the school for class room study. Newly developed school name is Supertron –Rebati Sishu Siksha Kendra.
