Every year India requires about five Crore units of blood, out of which only 2.5 Crore units of blood are available.

In our country, around 75% of this collection comes through voluntary donations. In West Bengal, fore runner in national blood donation movement, 85% of its that is around 13 lakh units of annual demand comes from donation camps.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Supertron Electronics Pvt Ltd have decided to organize Blood Donation Camp as their CSR project on World Blood Donors Day with the support of Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, West Bengal and COMPASS an IT trade association of eastern India. Camp was held on 14th June 2022 to commemorate world Blood Donor Day. There are more than 100 donor participated and donated blood for a noble cause.
