On October 9, 2024, Supertron organized the Puja Parikrama with the residents of Pratyay like previous years, Pratyay is an assisted-living facility that supports individuals recovering from psychosocial disabilities. The project is managed in collaboration with the Departments of Women and Child Welfare and Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal. Pratyay’s mission is to facilitate the transition of individuals from state-run mental health institutions to community life, fostering independence and empowerment.
Puja Parikrama enabling them to partake in the grand festivities of Durga Puja. This celebration has become an annual tradition, offering the residents a chance to engage with the wider community and embrace the joy and camaraderie that the festive season brings.
The entire event was met with enthusiasm and excitement. The residents expressed great delight at being part of the festival, and the pandal-hopping experience brought a much-needed sense of inclusion and normalcy into their lives. We concluded the day with a special lunch back at Pratyay, where everyone gathered to reflect on the day’s events and share their happiness.
